By car
Diversion signs are on all routes approaching the bridge. Hoole Road will remain open for all businesses up to the bridge. Access to Brook Street businesses will be via the inner (green) or local (pink) diversion routes.

By train
There are no planned disruptions to train services during this period. For help planning your journey by train call Cheshire travel line on 0845-140-2666 or cheshire.gov.uk/transport. A free city rail link shuttle bus will operate outside Chester station into the town centre and back.
Park & Ride
Chester’s Park and Ride will open 30 minutes earlier whilst Hoole Bridge is closed and is FREE between 6.30am and 7.30am.
By bus
Discussions have taken place with bus operators . You should allow longer for yur journey as buses will follow the diversion routes as well. All bus stops up to the junction with Newton lane will operate as normal.

On foot/cycle
Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained over the bridge during the work. In addition the section of the Sustrans Millennium Cycleway can be used to access the city centre. For details of cycle routes in Cheshire visit cheshire.gov.uk/cycling
Free parking
You can park for free after 5pm at Gorse Stacks, Garden Lane, Little Roodee, Northgate Street , Princess Street, St Anne’s Street, Steam Mill, Trinity Street, Crane Street and Cupin Street
