Romans highlight conference venue possibilities

THE ROMAN garden in Chester was the site for an unusual conference this week as businesses were encouraged to come to the city.

Centurions stood guard as staff from the Westminster Hotel, City Road, held a meeting to promote their conferencing facilities.

The event was staged with Roman Tours to create more awareness of the Feathers Westminster Hotel and Chester as a top conference venue.

General manager Damon Yoxall said: “At the Westminster we pride ourselves on quality customer service and exceeding our guests expectations.

“We can give our conferences a Roman theme, with food and trips out into the city at lunchtime to show off Chester as a wonderful destination.

“We have recently refurbished our hotel and our conference facilities to a high standard.”
