Stryt Las Park, Johnstown

Stryt Las Park is home to one of Europe’s largest colonies of Great Crested Newts.

The area is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a predominately wetland area which is dominated by a large lake and three small ponds.

There are a series of pathways that surround the lake, where you can take a leisurely stroll or just sit and relax and watch a variety of wildfowl.
