Dewa Roman Experience

THIS is an in-situ archaeology exhibit from Roman, medieval and Saxon times, discovered beneath the streets of Chester.

There is also a 'living history' exhibit in the form of a Roman galley including smells and sounds from the era, to transport you back in time.

In the 'hands on' area visitors can handle some of the artefacts found during the excavation of the site. Genuine antiques are also available to buy in the gift shop.
