Chester FC: Former players face fans in bowls clash

BLUES fans lined up against some of their heroes in a special bowls match on Sunday.

The event, at Cheshire View, Christleton, saw members of Chester’s ormer players association take on supporters.

Those in attendance included Alan Tarbuck, Derek Draper, Dennis Reeves, Ian Moir, Elfed Morris and Bob Delgado.

Winner of the tournament was supporter Phil Edwards, who was presented with his trophy by 70s goalkeeping star Grenville Millington.

The ‘new’ Chester FC was represented by club chairman Chris Pilsbury.
