CHESTER FC officials hope to boost season ticket sales when the club’s new shirts go on sale at the Deva Stadium today.
The reborn Blues have so far sold nearly 400 season tickets – an encouraging figure but one that is expected to rise by this evening.
Chester fans aged under 16 can get their hands on a shirt and a season ticket for just £45, with 16 and 17-year-olds paying £80 for the same deal.
The impressive shirts, sponsored by MBNA and manufactured by Joma, cost £34.99 for adults and £24.99 for children. Adults can pick up both the home and away shirts for £65.
The club shop at the Deva is open from 10am-2pm and 4-7pm today and tomorrow.
A concert to raise funds for City Fans United and Chester FC takes place at the Frog & Nightingale on Frodsham Street, Chester, tomorrow (7.30pm).
Chester bands Go Kart Commandos and Local Lads Make Good, featuring Blues fans and organisers Pete Fielder-Shaw and Stephen Wakefield, make up the bill. Tickets cost £5 and are available on the door.
For the second consecutive Sunday, Blues fans helped spruce up the Deva Stadium at the weekend.
City Fans United board member Jim Green said: “Further volunteer-led maintenance days are planned for every Sunday up to and including July 25 from 10am to 4pm. We would urge all Chester FC supporters to come along and help ensure the Deva Stadium is in sparkling condition for the new season.”
Chester FC’s Evo-Stik League First Division North fixtures will be released on Wednesday.
