Chester FC: New MBNA-sponsored shirts go sale next Thursday (with pic gallery)

BLUES fans will be able to get their hands on the new Chester FC kits next Thursday.

Manufactured by Joma and sponsored by MBNA, the shirts will go on sale a week today at the Deva Stadium club shop, costing £34.99 for adults and £24.99 for children.

Chief executive Steve Ashton said: “We are sure that both our players and fans will enjoy wearing the Joma kits and branded merchandise. Joma supply kits to Spanish and Scottish premiership clubs, Championship clubs and also World Cup finalists Honduras.”

The traditional blue-and-white striped home shirt is complemented by black shorts and hooped blue-and-white socks, while the purple away shirt is accompanied by white shorts and socks.

Adults buying both the home and away shirts in the same size will pay £65. Supporters under 16 can pick up a shirt and a season ticket for just £45, with 16 and 17-year-olds paying £80 for the same deal.

National sportswear supplier Live4Soccer has signed a two-year deal with Chester to supply the club’s kits, training and travel wear. The partnership will include an online shop allowing fans to order merchandise direct to their home.

Ashton said: “Live4Soccer are making a significant commitment to Chester FC in an historic season through the provision of kit to the first team squad.”

Michael Jeske, Live4Soccer’s Chester director, added: “Live4Soccer are delighted to be involved with such a prestigious club. The Joma official merchandise collection we are supplying provides a large range of high quality products for supporters and will help Chester FC develop a new brand identity.”

Opening hours for the Deva Stadium club shop next Thursday are 10am-2pm and 4pm-7pm.
