Chester FC: Woodley Sports match postponed

THE freezing temperatures have forced Chester FC to postpone their home game against Woodley Sports.
An inspection was carried out at the Exacta Stadium on Tuesday morning and the frost-bound pitch was deemed unplayable.
With more bitterly cold weather forecast for today, the club opted to call the match off more than 24 hours before it was due to be played.
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
The weather is due to improve later in the week, so Blues officials are optimistic that Saturday’s home meeting with Radcliffe Borough can go ahead.
Chester have not played since the 4-0 victory over Skelmersdale United on November 20.
