Chester City FC: Mick Wadsworth impressed by new Blues midfielder Clark Keltie

MICK Wadsworth was impressed by Clark Keltie after Chester City’s new recruit made his Blues bow in this afternoon’s Racecourse derby.

The Newcastle-born 26-year-old, just two days after signing on an initial month’s loan from League Two side Rochdale, produced a combative performance in the centre of the park.

City manager Wadsworth said: “He needs games and you saw that in the last 20 minutes, but in the first half, after he got to grips with it, he was very dominant in the centre circle and we need that power and strength.

“He’s a good addition and he if does well, the aim is to keep him for a little bit longer than a month. He did really well.”
