Chester City FC ‘badly let down’ by Paul Taylor no-show

PAUL Taylor looks to have played his last game for the Blues following another alleged breach of club discipline.

The 21-year-old striker’s future is in doubt after he failed to board the team bus for Saturday’s match at Gillingham.

It is the third time this season he has missed an away game for what the club considers to be a less than satisfactory reason.

Taylor is on a six-month loan from Blue Square North side Vauxhall Motors and an agreement is in place for him to sign permanently for the Blues in January. City, however, are seeking to cancel Taylor’s loan deal with immediate effect.

Chester owner Stephen Vaughan said: “We feel badly let down yet again.

“I would rather not publicly itemise all the issues we have experienced, but again he (Taylor) has let us down prior to an important game that he was due to be involved in.”
