CHESTER City are free to do business in the transfer market again, according to club owner Stephen Vaughan.
A meeting with the Football League has seen the Blues given the green light to make new signings.
The Professional Footballers’ Association revealed last Friday that City had been hit with a transfer embargo by the Football League due to the non payment of players.
But Vaughan last night said: “We have been told that we are not embargoed as was stated by the PFA, and as such we are free to bring in players within the current wage capping rules that apply to all clubs in our division.”
