New boy Barry wants to “dominate” at Chester

CHESTER City today unveiled the first new signing of Simon Davies and Huw Griffiths’ reign - 22-year-old midfielder Anthony Barry.

Liverpool-born Barry, who made the third highest number of appearances in League One for Yeovil last season, was released after two years at the club and opted to return to the North West.

“I am really happy to be signing for Chester and I want to dominate this league and the games I play in.” he said.

“I have grown up with a number of players who are on the books here and with the staff we have I expect us to be challenging for honours next season.”
