Blues close in on Linwood deal

CHESTER City are on the verge of tying key defender Paul Linwood to a long-term deal.
It was feared the 24-year-old – City’s player of the season – may be lured away this summer by a bigger club.
But boss Simon Davies has made a determined effort to retain the services of his influential centre-back, who is due at the Deva Stadium this afternoon to pen a new deal.
