KEVIN Ellison’s proposed move to Stockport County could be off.
Chester agreed a deal to loan the winger to Stockport at the weekend and the transfer was all set to go through once the transfer window for loan moves opened tomorrow (Thursday).
City’s leading scorer looked to be on his way, but Ellison has apparently had seconds thoughts.
He now has an important decision to make.
Blues owner Stephen Vaughan said “All we want is a yes or a no. We had agreed the details with Stockport, as had Kevin, so now all we want is a resolution to the proposed move one way or the other.
“If Kevin wants to stay with us then that would be positive news, but if he decides to go to Edgeley Park, he would go with our best wishes. All we want is a decision and I don’t think that’s too much to ask.”
Meanwhile, City defender Paul Linwood looks set to be fit for Saturday’s home match with Accrington Stanley after shaking off a groin injury.
