Cheshire Jets: Club backs White Ribbon anti-violence campaign

Jets join campaign

ANTI-VIOLENCE charity the White Ribbon campaign has received the support of the Cheshire Jets.

The Jets bore white ribbon logos on their kit at the last game, against Newcastle Eagles, in support of the global campaign.

The White Ribbon Campaign is aimed at encouraging men to take a proactive stance toward reducing violence against women.

Cheshire Jets Captain Colin O’Reilly explained why the team decided to support the cause: “It’s incredibly important that we all take a stand against violence against women.

“As a team we decided to get involved with the White Ribbon campaign to set an example to other men and to show them this behaviour is unacceptable.”
