Cheshire Jets: Matt Schneck earns second successive Team of the Week selection

THE BBL has once more singled out Matt Schneck for its Team of the Week.

The powerful Jets centre struggled with the rest of his teammates to get going at the start of the season, but in the last few weeks double-doubles (reaching double figures in both points scored and rebounds) have become the norm for the Wisconsin-born ace.

Even in defeat at Durham, Schneck managed to top score for the game and collect 15 rebounds as he tried to pull his side through.

It is the second time in three weeks Schneck has made team of the week and he is joined by Jets skipper Colin O’Reilly, who earned a bench pick after he pocketed 15pts and nine rebounds against Glasgow and 17pts and eight rebounds in the defeat at Durham.

Former Jet Jeremy Bell also made the bench for his 29pts and five rebounds in Plymouth Raiders’ win over Sheffield Sharks.
