National League: Halpin and co help Cheshire Jets to victory

LEWIS Halpin proved formidable in attack, scoring 22 points as the Cheshire Jets’ 2nds defeated Durham Wildcats 2nds 90-71 at the Hub in Ellesmere Port in the EBL National League Division Four.
Jordan Smith backed him up – both players having graduated through the youth ranks – with 14 and Ryan Gallagher added 11.
It wasn’t a good day for the Jets’ U18s however as the league leaders crashed to an 82-73 defeat to Manchester Magic in the North Premier.
But the Jets 2nds defeated fellow Jets youth side Warrington Jets in the North West Conference.
The Cheshire 2nds won 112-66.
