THEIR fitness regime usually features high-energy workouts, but the Jets have tried out a more relaxed way to give them the edge.
Six of the squad met trainer Luos Jonnson to try yoga at Total Fitness in Chester.
Jets captain Colin O’Reilly said it was long overdue.
“I’ve always been interested in yoga, because I know there are benefits, but time-wise I’ve not had the chance,” he said.
Jonnson said while the Jets were clearly fit, some did struggle.
“After just 15 seconds some were struggling with their balance,” he said.
“That indicates they need to do more exercises like this.
“Hopefully it will encourage them to pursue yoga.”
