Michael Owen

Michael Owen is a retired professional footballer. Born in Chester, he played for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City and scored 40 goals in 89 appearances for England. He won the 2001 Ballon d'Or, given to the best football player in Europe. Owen's father Terry Owen played for Chester.
